CTET July 2024 Admit Card

The Board released the notification about the Central Teacher Eligibility test on 7 March 2024, and on the same day, they started the application process for applicants. The last date for filling out an application form for appearing in the CTET exam was 5 April 2024. Then, as per the reports, the CTET exam will be conducted by authorities on 7 July 2024.

CTET 2024 Exam Pattern

The Recruitment Board of the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) will conduct two papers for the applicants depending upon the class they want to teach. Both papers have different subjects to study and will qualify for different classes.

• Paper 1 is only conducted for classes 1 to 5 and has 150 questions. Each question carries 1 mark, and the exam has no negative mark. The applicants will have 2.5 hours (150 minutes) to attempt the exam.
• Paper 2 is conducted for the classes from 6th to 8th only and has 150 questions but with additional subjects. Each question carries 1 mark, and no marks will be deducted for any wrong answer. Candidates will get 150 minutes / 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.

In the CTET exam, the selection process has two phases:

• Candidates must qualify for the exam with a minimum of 55% or 65%, depending on their category.
